This design and build project really called for a modern look to this backyard.
Although the yard wasn't very large, after we were done it really felt like we had increased the size of the outdoor space. An existing concrete porch was the only existing element before we began. We added a composite deck and concrete paver patio to create two different areas for dining, entertaining and plenty of relaxation. Throw in the sound of pondless water feature flowing below a double sided fireplace and there is some nice features to enjoy here. The 3D effect of the stone used to create the wall was a nice touch, as well as a neat piece of illuminated art on the composite wall built to enclose the yard from the neighbouring property.
